Pastor Patricia Reid was born on June 6, 1960 in Bennettsville, SC to the late Reverend Henry Boy Bethea and Annie English Bethea. She attended public schools in Bennettsville, SC, graduating from Bennettsville High in 1978. After completing high school, she went into the work force and began working at Emerson as a QC operator. She was employed there for four years until a better opportunity was presented. Pastor Reid attended Chesterfield-Marlboro Technical College where she completed her studies and received her certificate in Office Systems Technology. Pastor Reid enjoyed playing soft ball in which she played for 32 years until she injured her shoulder.

Pastor Reid is happily married to Mr. Wilbert H. Reid and they are the proud parents of two wonderful daughters: Zakeya A. Reid and T’Auna P. Hudson. They are also the proud grandparents of three wonderful grandchildren: Azurea N. Cooper, Braedyn S. Hudson, and Mikaela S. Hudson.

Pastor Reid answered the call to ministry in the year of our Lord 1997 and received her license to minister from the hands of her spiritual father, (Chief Apostle Harold L. Bennett). In 2001, Pastor Reid was ordained as an Elder and in 2003 was ordained as a Prophetess. Pastor Reid was ordained as pastor in 2005 and was the pastor of Christian Healing Temple until 2007. In the year of 2010, Pastor Reid accepted the calling and task of being the pastor of the ministry God showed her in a vision. At that time, she spoke with her spiritual father as well as her biological father. She explained to them that God instructed her to “teach my people how to live holy”. From that vision, Pastor Reid along with her husband, Apostle Reid, birthed True Gospel House of Deliverance in March of 2011. The ministry is housed at 111 Bethea Road in Bennettsville, SC. The building was given to her by her late father. True Gospel House of Deliverance is a safe haven for many and the members along with the leaders, keep the mantra of True Gospel thriving. A place to Rebuild Restore Renew. 

After 27 years of working in the Marlboro County School District, Pastor Reid left the school district to become a full time Nana. She takes joy in caring for her grandchildren while her daughters work and pursue their dreams. In January of 2023, Pastor Reid received her Life Coach certification and is now a Mental Stability Coach. Pastor Reid is a light to all she comes in contact with. Her bright smile, soft words, and warm spirit leaves an impression on you after being in her presence. She is the true definition of a virtuous woman. Pastor Reid lives by Romans 12:1 and 2, which is her favorite scripture. Her desire is to see that the people of God live holy and reap the promises of God. She believes that we all have a nation within us and that we have to reach that nation before the second coming of Jesus the Christ.
